Audience Feedback on "A Day in my Life" Final Short Film Animation

The assignment also need for us to create another survey for my final animation (audience feedback). The reason to make this survey so I can know how my audience's opinion could possible change or not about my final animation since they have watched my last animatics and my audience have high expectations on seeing my (completed) final animation.

For my final animation survey, I have collected 7 (audience feedback) responses. I have 5 question to ask towards my audience that includes:

QUESTION 1: "How is my presentation?"

I also always ask this question because I want to know if my audience can clearly understand or not on how I present my Principles of Animation presentation about my final animation.

2 person voted 4 STARS (middle highest)

2 person voted 5 STARS (highest)

By using this rating, I can systemize my audience's feedback by making their decisions with established standards and recommendations that provide a conclusive result. So far from the rating, 4 people voted the highest are 4 STARS and 5 STARS, only 1 person voted 3 STARS being the average highest.

From my audience's rating towards my presentation, I am still satisfied with my audience's pleasingly feedback rating. 

So by this I can look back at my audience's feedback on how I will improve more towards my presentation in the future. 

QUESTION 2: "How is my full animation?"

1 person voted 4 STARS (middle highest)

3 person voted 5 STARS (highest)

By using this rating scale, I can easily analyze my audience's feedback and the results can be easily attained. As you can see from the survey below, my audience rates my full animation where 3 people gives 5 STARS being the highest, 1 person gives 4 STARS being the middle highest and 1 person gives 3 STARS being the average highest. 

From my audience's feedback, I am satisfied with their rating because most of them like my full animation that has been shown during my presentation.

QUESTION 3: "What do you like about my animation?"

1st person said that they like the cat voice-over. If you have already watched my full animation, YES I did add my cat's voice in my animation because she did involve in my "A Day in My Life" that is why I specifically need to add my cat's voice in my final animation. 

2nd person said that me adding the 2d and 3d animation is good, as they did expect while watching my animatics, I did mention if my audience will suitably like it or not if I combine 2d and 3d animation for my full animation and I kept my promise on my audience's request. 

3rd person said they like my character which is the 3d girl. I am pleased with this feedback since they focus more on my 3d character in my full animation because I did try my best to put in a lot of effort in creating the 3d character's body rigging to animate in my full animation. 

4th person said "the Mimi meowing and the contents". First of all Mimi is my cat, so by this my audience likes when I put in my cat's meow in my final animation so that puts as this 4th person and 1st person likes my cat's voiceover. Secondly this person like my contents as in they like my whole final presentation of animation.

5th person said they like the colorful background hand drawn backgrounds which I did draw and animate a lot of effort in making it more vibrant and pleasing towards the eyes of my audience. Since some scenes I only put in an image for the background, this person focuses more and compliments on my hand drawn backgrounds are much better. This person could comment that they like 2d animation more than 3d since hand drawn are considered as 2 dimensional perspective. So for future reference when I animate, I should try to fully create a full hand drawn animation. 

QUESTION 4: "Do you understand the full (contents) animation shown?"

As the animator, I am well pleased seeing my audience gave me 5 out of 5 answer on "YES" that they did understand my full (contents) of my final animation. So by this my audience understand that the presentation of final animation I am showing is about "A Day in my Life".

QUESTION 5: "Any improvements/comments about my animation?"

1st person said more movement. From my understanding maybe this person are implying that I should move my character more. If its true then I agree since my character only moves from one side of the frame to the other side, basically only left and right, up and down. Other reason it could be more movement on the background, which is also true that I should have animate something moving on the background of the scene to make the scene looks more like an animated environment. 

2nd person said Nothing. So there are no improvements or comments about my final animation.

3rd person said that they Love the character but need more smooth actions. As explained from the 1st person point of view and I already have answered it. Furthermore, I need to work more on my 3d character's body rigging as maybe my audience are saying that the movement of my character does not suit their view.

4th person said Everything is excellent. So everything about my presentation and final animation is excellent from their opinion. 

5th person said Nothing everything is fine.

From the responses, some feedback are about I need to improve more on my 3d character's movement (body rigging) animation. Most of my audience feedbacks are everything is perfect regarding my presentation and final animation about "A Day in my Life".
